Our client, an industry leading aerospace engineering firm are currently seeking a Production Planning Assistant to join their team.

As a Production Planning Assistant  you will work closely with and support the Operations team, maintaining accurate records and providing exceptional care to colleagues and customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Confirming receipt of new orders and processing in accordance with 
  • Uploading invoices to customer portals.
  • Communicating with customers via email, Teams, telephone and in person during on-site visits.
  • Raising pro-forma invoices for works yet to be completed
  • Loading sales orders to the planning system
  • Updating charts and trackers with live production data

Working as part of a tight knit team in an ever-changing environment it is essential that you can multitask and prioritise your workload. You will also need:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Application, Outlook, and Word.
  • Strong Excel skills. Training will be provided on more specialist packages.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills.

This is an office-based role, Monday-Thursday 8.15am-5pm and Friday 8.30am-1.15pm. 

This is a great opportunity to gain experience in programme management.
