Role - Production Operative - Single Face Roll Operator
Location: DS Smith Packaging, South Mills, The Ridgeway, Blunham, Bedford MK44 3PH, United Kingdom
Rate: 12.08 per hour (paid breaks)
Shift: Mon-Thu 06:00-16:00
Overtime available, over 42 hours = OT 1 x1.5 Monday to Saturday and Double time on Sundays
Contract Length: Temp to Perm (3 months initially)
Start: Following a site tour on 30th January 2025, the view to start ASAP
Responsibilities:

Operate machinery safely and efficiently

Ensure productivity and performance targets are met

Maintain consistent quality standards

Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as per schedule

Adhere to UK Health and Safety legislation at all times

Support improvement initiatives as needed
Essential requirements:
-
Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment

Good knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation
-
Safety-focused with a positive, enthusiastic attitude

Good communication skills (both verbal and written)

Team player, quality-conscious, and adaptable to multi-skilled working
