Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting one the regions best engineering firms on their search for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer.

Working alongside electronic and software engineers, the succesful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the success of project delivery through product development and client management.

Reporting directly to the Techncial Director, the Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for:

• Design and development of product solutions
• Developing mechancial concepts, detailed designs, working with suppliers to manufacture and build.
• Leading design reviews.
• Proposing and implementing improvements.
• Mentoring junior engineers.

You will have:

• Wide experience as an engineer.
• Excellent systems knowledge and skill
• Competant with engineering principles
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
