Compliance Fire Officer - Permanent, Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Compliance Fire Officer to join our Compliance & Facilities Team. Working alongside an existing Fire Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring fire safety across a designated portfolio of properties.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service that prioritizes safety and compliance, ensuring all statutory and policy obligations are met.
* Manage and oversee compliance programmes, including fire detection and warning systems, emergency lighting, smoke vents (AOVs), and firefighting equipment, ensuring all checks and maintenance are completed to the highest standards.
* Plan, organize, and deliver the Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) programme, ensuring thorough assessments and compliance across all sites.
* Oversee the implementation and completion of fire safety actions arising from FRAs, ensuring timely resolution of any issues.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all relevant legislation, building regulations, British standards, and best practices, ensuring compliance policies and procedures remain current.
* Proactively assess and prepare for future regulatory changes, implementing improvements where necessary.

* Position: Compliance Fire Officer (Permanent)
* Salary: 38,331 per annum
* Additional Benefits: Essential car user allowance 2000 Per annum
* Location: Based in Leeds or York with flexible/homeworking options
* Working Hours: 37 hours per week
