Interim Accountant

• Interim Financial Accountant role.
• Location: Bodmin.
• Duration: 3-6 months.
• Day rate: £250-300 per day.

As they continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join their team on an interim basis while they search for a permanent hire.Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant with strong technical knowledge to manage their financial operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of their financial reporting and compliance.Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with external auditors and manage audit processes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Financial Accountant, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of accounting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) are desirable.
