Location: Cornwall, (Commutable from: Plymouth, Bodmin, Callington, Launceston, Davidstow, St Neot)
Salary: 42,000 - 45,000 per annum
Shift: Monday to Friday
As a Site Services Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of critical site services within a busy manufacturing plant. This includes overseeing utilities, HVAC systems, boilers, water treatment, compressed air, and other essential infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs a range of utility systems (HVAC, Boilers, water treatment etc)
* Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are followed to ensure plant safety.
* Identify and implement improvements to site systems to enhance efficiency and reliability.
* Monitor energy usage and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience as a Site Services Engineer or similar role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
* Strong knowledge of utilities systems, including HVAC, boilers, compressors, and water treatment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ, HNC, or equivalent).
