Are you experienced in Fire & Security Service and Installation and looking for a new opportunity with an Established company based in the South West? This could be your chance


I am looking for a service engineer to join the team in St Austell. Working alone, or with other engineers within the team of motivated multi-disciplined engineers, you will provide professional and dependable quality service to our customers maintaining and installing a mix of fire alarms, CCTV, access control, intruder alarm systems and fire extinguishers in a timely professional manner throughout Cornwall and Plymouth


Requirements:
  • Significant experience as a multi-disciplined fire & security engineer.
  • Experience of Advanced, Apollo, CTec, Hochiki amongst other fire alarm systems preferred.
  • Experience of networked access control systems such as TDSi, Gallagher, Paxton and audio & video entry systems preferred.
  • Experience of intruder alarms and the relevant NSI codes of practice.
  • Strong IT skills and understand networks and network connected devices.
  • Knowledge of fire extinguisher servicing preferred but not essential.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Servicing and repairs on various security systems including Advanced, Apollo and Hochiki, Texecom, Galaxy, Menvier, Hikvision, TDSi, Integra, Paxton, Gallagher.
  • Servicing and installation of fire extinguishers.
  • Completing necessary paperwork and reports in a timely manner through electronic engineer reporting diary.
  • Attend reactive calls and breakdowns and perform general maintenance work including tracing and rectification of faults.
  • Participate in an on-call rota (one is seven).
