Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Services Team Leader to manage day-to-day site operations. This role involves working closely with the site services manager overseeing the facility, maintenance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to support the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Site Services team, providing clear direction and support.
* Oversee maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring they are completed efficiently and on time.
* Attend and get involved with maintenance offering additional support to engineers.
* Coordinate and prioritise site services activities, including utilities management, building maintenance, cleaning, and waste disposal.
* Identify and implement improvements in site service processes and procedures.
* Develop and maintain relationships with external contractors and suppliers.
* Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring cost efficiency.
* Prepare and maintain accurate reports on site services performance and activities.
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in a leadership role within site services, facilities management, or a related field, ideally in manufacturing.
* Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards.
* NVQ level 3 in electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent (desirable)
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and hands-on approach.
