In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for the strategic and operational financial oversight of the organisation with a healthy annual turnover, along with significant investments and assets. You will ensure the integrity of financial systems and compliance with statutory regulations, working closely with the Chief Executive to guide both short and long-term financial planning. Your role will involve preparing financial statements, managing audits, and providing insightful recommendations to the Board to ensure financial sustainability and growth.

You’ll lead the financial strategy, acting as a key advisor on financial modelling for new business initiatives and funding proposals. Your leadership will extend to the organisation’s treasury management strategy, ensuring optimal liquidity and reserve policies. Additionally, you will oversee the financial performance of new housing programmes, contributing to the production of quarterly accounts and long-term financial forecasts.

This role is perfect for an experienced qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) with a strong commercial background and a proven track record in financial management. Your experience in highly regulated environments, coupled with your ability to lead and develop a finance team, will be crucial. You will excel in strategic financial leadership, business planning, and risk management, providing clear and actionable financial advice to senior stakeholders.
