- Be the first port of call for any HR queries
- Provide advice and support on HR policies and procedures.
- Issue contracts
- Complete staff onboarding
- Manage the recruitment inbox/Indeed account and send on job applications to relevant managers.
- Screen candidates, schedule interviews for managers and send rejection emails to unsuccessful applicants
- File/scan documents to personnel files
- Produce reports and KPI’s
- Participate in and/or assist with project work
- Advise and support managers through informal and formal employee relations processes and assist at formal meetings and hearings.
- General ad hoc administrative duties
- Someone with HR experience in a similar role
- Someone with detailed and up to date knowledge of employment law, case law, and good employment practice.
- Working towards a CIPD qualification or in possession of one
- Someone who is proficient with Microsoft packages
- Someone with experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Someone who has a confidential approach to sensitive information
- Used to prioritising own workload and meeting expectations
- Someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills and organisational skills
- Proactive and able to use initiative and work under minimum supervision
