Job Title: 1st Line Engineer
Location: Cornwall (Onsite)
Contract Length: 6 months (Inside IR35)

Overview:
We are seeking a motivated 1st Line Engineer for out client to provide IT support services on a 6-month contract, working onsite in Cornwall. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of experience who is eager to grow and develop their skills in a hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to and resolving 1st line IT support tickets from end users across the organisation.
- Installing, configuring, and supporting the Windows desktop environment (Windows 10).
- Providing troubleshooting support for hardware (PCs, laptops, printers) and software issues.
- Assisting with the management of user accounts and access via Active Directory.
- Supporting Office 365, including email configuration and troubleshooting.
- Assisting with network connectivity issues, including VPN and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
- Logging incidents, service requests, and tracking progress through to resolution.
- Escalating more complex issues to 2nd and 3rd line teams where necessary.
Key Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a 1st line support role, preferably in an enterprise environment.
- Strong experience with the Windows stack, including Windows 10 and Active Directory.
- Basic knowledge of Office 365 administration and support.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.).
- Ability to resolve basic network issues (Wi-Fi, VPNs, Ethernet connections).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proactive and customer-focused mindset.
