Job Title: Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) Triage WorkerLocation: Remote Salary: £18-21 per hour Hours: Full-time / Part-time (flexible options available)Contract: Temporary 2-3 month contractAbout the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated and empathetic ISVA Triage Worker to be the first point of contact for individuals affected by sexual violence. In this vital role, you will provide immediate support, assess needs, and ensure survivors are connected with appropriate services for ongoing care and advocacy.Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial needs and risk assessments for survivors of sexual violence.
  • Provide immediate emotional and practical support through trauma-informed approaches.
  • Signpost and refer survivors to appropriate ISVA services or other specialist agencies.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records and contribute to service reports.
  • Liaise with statutory and non-statutory agencies to facilitate timely support.
  • Promote awareness of sexual violence services within the community.

About You:

  • Experience supporting individuals affected by trauma, preferably within sexual violence services.
  • Understanding of the impact of sexual violence and relevant safeguarding procedures.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of local and national support networks and pathways is an advantage.
