Apprentice / Trainee Toolmaker - Bodmin

Amazing career opportunity to join a leading global manufacturer involved in the design and production of technologically advanced, high-quality products for various markets.

Based at their UK operation (Bodmin), in the role you will learn to manufacture and assemble plastic injection & elastomer moulds, press-tools and other tooling components using a variety of machining and bench fitting techniques. You will set and operate a range of manual and CNC machines including mills, lathes and grinders.

The role is going to be suited to someone who has a deep-rooted and demonstrable interest in the engineering sector, ideally with knowledge of Mills, Lathes, Manual and CNC control systems

So, to you.....

You MUST have a formal engineering, technical design, maths or physics qualification at College level, or significant relevant experience and knowledge in an engineering environment. Desirable would be an NVQ / BTEC Level 2 or 3 in an engineering discipline.
