Mechanical Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Supervisor to join our clients team for a large-scale commercial construction project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical works on-site, ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the mechanical installation and maintenance activities on the project.
• Ensure compliance with project schedules, cost controls, and quality standards.
• Lead and manage mechanical teams and subcontractors, ensuring efficient and timely execution of work.
• Conduct inspections to ensure the proper installation and functioning of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.
• Provide technical support and guidance to site teams and resolve any mechanical issues that arise during construction.
• Maintain daily logs, report on progress, and communicate project updates with the project management team.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, health regulations, and quality assurance protocols.
• Perform quality control and testing of mechanical systems to ensure they meet required specifications and standards.

Requirements:

• CSCS card
• SSSTS / SMSTS
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.) and relevant codes and standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.
