My client are a prestigious, award-winning UK property and construction group with an excellent reputation for delivering significant, high-quality projects across the country. Schemes include luxury mixed-use developments and major residential / student accommodation projects.
They are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a pre-cast concrete frame project consisting of apartments and housing.
Duties and responsibilities to include:
- Measure and estimate accurately and efficiently
- Responsible for the production of tenders, budget estimates and cost plans.
- Control cost and maximise value
- Mitigate risk using correct contractual procedures
- Produce accurate monthly valuations on time
- Access, value, and process labour and subcontractor payments, resolving any disputes promptly
- Manage workforce and client for the project
- Achieve best cashflow and variance analysis
- Produce Monthly CVR's
- Report on opportunities, risk, and performance of the project
