Property Services ManagerLocation: CornwallSalary: £40,000 per annum + mileage allowanceHours: 35 hours per week, flexible working availableAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Services Manager to lead and deliver exceptional property services for a well-established, customer-focused housing provider in Cornwall. They are seeking a dynamic individual with a proven track record in managing property-related services and a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes.The RoleAs Property Services Manager, you will take overall responsibility for ensuring property services are managed effectively and in line with regulatory and statutory requirements. You will lead a very small team and work closely with contractors and stakeholders to ensure a fully responsive, customer-centric repairs service is in place.You will also oversee key aspects of building safety, maintenance, and asset management, with a strong focus on value for money and sustainability. The successful candidate will manage budgets, lead contractor relationships, and contribute to the organisation's long-term strategy, ensuring future homes standards and climate response initiatives are at the forefront of property management.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the delivery of responsive and cyclical maintenance services, ensuring high standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee health and safety compliance, contractor management, and the cost-effective delivery of works.
  • Work with the finance team to manage budgets, explore funding opportunities, and ensure procurement delivers value for money.
  • Lead on stock condition surveys and the preparation of lifecycle and business planning.
  • Ensure accurate data management and reporting across all property services.
  • Contribute to strategic planning around property services and attend relevant board and committee meetings.
About You:
  • Significant experience in property management or building services, with at least 5 years in a customer-focused environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage building safety, compliance, and repairs
  • Proven experience in managing udgets, delivering cost-effective solutions, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • A proactive, strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience managing or working alongside teams, contractors, and other service providers.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Relevant professional qualifications and/or significant experience in a property services role.
  • Financial and budget management experience.
  • A solid understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Strong IT and data management skills, with experience using property management software.
  • A full driving license and the ability to travel across Cornwall.
