About the Role
As a Science Teacher, you will have the chance to inspire students across a variety of year groups. Your role will involve delivering engaging and interactive science lessons, collaborating with fellow teaching staff, and contributing to lesson planning. This position is available for both day-to-day and long-term placements, offering flexibility to meet the needs of local schools.
Key Responsibilities

Teach engaging Science lessons to secondary school students at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)

Support and guide students in their scientific understanding and development

Collaborate with colleagues to create an inspiring and positive learning environment

Maintain effective communication with staff members and contribute to school-wide initiatives
Requirements
To be considered for the Science Teacher position, you should:

Have experience teaching secondary education at KS3 and KS4

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Hold a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or equivalent teaching qualification
-
Have a genuine passion for science and the ability to create exciting and inspiring lessons

Be enthusiastic about being part of a committed and supportive teaching team
