Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Location: Bodmin

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team and provide exceptional support to teachers and students in primary and secondary schools. As a HLTA, you will play a vital role in ensuring student success and improving educational outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs.
  • Work with teachers to develop and implement effective lesson plans.
  • Deliver lessons and educational activities in the absence of the teacher.
  • Support the implementation of educational programs and individualized learning plans.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them overcome learning challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success!

Requirements:

  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) certification or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a HLTA or in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of educational theories and practices
  • Ability to work with students of different ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for working with children and a commitment to student success.
