This role is within a SEN school in BODMIN who cater for children in an education setting from ages 8-16. All children have an EHCP and needs including Autism, ADHD and those who will present challenging behaviours.

Requirements:

· Candidates with previous experience as an Autism support worker are preferred.

· Priority will be given to applicants holding a valid driver's license.

· Effective communication skills are essential.

· We highly appreciate qualities such as compassion, patience, and empathy.

· Adaptability and flexibility in diverse circumstances are necessary.

· Commitment to supporting students in their success and well-being is crucial.

Responsibilities:

· Guide as an Autism support worker to students in their educational journey.

· Employ diverse methods to meet the unique needs of each student.

· Work closely with teachers, therapists, and caregivers to create effective support plans.

· Cultivate a supportive environment to boost social and communication abilities.

· Introduce regular interventions and activities to enhance academic advancement and performance.
