Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge? Zest have teamed up with a leading FMCG manufacturer, where innovation and quality are at the heart of everything they do. As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our production facility. This is a hands-on role, ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, FMCG environment.
The Role:
* Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency.
* Attend breakdowns on manufacturing machinery to ensure minimal downtime.
* Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on production equipment.
* Work alongside the production team to optimise equipment reliability.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to engineering projects.
What We're Looking For:
* A relevant engineering qualification (NVQ, HNC, or equivalent).
* Proven experience in a maintenance role within food, drink, or FMCG environment.
* Strong electrical and mechanical skills,
* Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
* Knowledge of PLC fault-finding is desirable
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
