The Opportunity:We are looking for a driven and results-focused Specification Sales Executive to join our growing team. In this exciting role, you’ll be pivotal in establishing the company’s product range as the preferred choice for designers. By engaging proactively with key stakeholders in the sector, you’ll identify opportunities to offer impactful solutions and help shape the future of renewable energy in the UK and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales Growth: Ensure the company’s products are the preferred specification for Offshore Wind Farm projects, increasing adoption through strategic written specifications.
  • Build Lasting Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers at all levels, from engineers to project managers and senior stakeholders.
  • Lead the Sales Pipeline: Manage the sales process, ensuring the pipeline is healthy and all project specifications are effectively tracked and valued.
  • Brand Representation: Represent the company at industry events and through marketing channels, strengthening the brand’s presence within the sector.
  • Collaborate for Innovation: Work closely with the Engineering and Marketing teams to develop and launch new products that meet the evolving needs of the market.
  • Provide Market Insights: Share valuable insights and customer feedback with the leadership team to support strategic decision-making and product development.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Specification Sales professional with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a technical or engineering-related sector.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A strategic thinker who understands the sales process and how to drive sustainable growth in a competitive market.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work across different sales environments and engage with diverse customers.
  • A motivated and ambitious individual with a proactive approach and a passion for success, while also being humble and strategic in their approach.
  • A keen interest in Engineering – experience in the energy sector or a background in engineering would be highly advantageous, though not essential.
