A Construction Health & Safety consultancy is seeking an experienced and motivated CDM Principal Designer to lead a portfolio of high-profile projects within some of the world's most iconic sporting venues. Known for its partnerships with prestigious clients, this consultancy is dedicated to championing Safety by Design, incorporating innovative safety solutions at each phase of construction.

This role offers significant autonomy, allowing you to manage your projects with flexibility, including remote work options. In-office team meetings are scheduled just twice a month, fostering collaboration and alignment. The Principal Designer Role

As a Principal Designer, you'll take charge of a varied portfolio, acting as both Principal Designer and CDM Client Advisor. You'll work within a team of over 10 CDM professionals, ensuring projects are both safe and compliant from start to finish.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Qualifications: NEBOSH Construction Certificate (required); Tech IOSH (minimum); APS membership (preferred)
  • Education: Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Engineering, or Surveying (preferred)
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in CDM or a relevant Health & Safety field
  • Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
