HGV Class 1 Day Driver

We have opportunities for Class 1 day drivers (Class 1 C+E) for Ad-Hoc and Temporary work. Temperature Controlled deliveries to various U.K. locations, delivering to supermarket RDCs. You must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude as you may be required to help with unloading splitting of pallets at the RDCs. Deliveries are carried out using straight 1 temperature trailers, twin temperature trailers and refrigerated floating deck double deck trailers. Applicants must be willing to work weekend days.

To apply for this role you must have:

• Valid Drivers CPC & Digital Tacho Card required
• No more than 9 penalty points, with no DR, DD, CD, TT endorsement codes (for insurance purposes)
• Good understanding of the WTD & Tacho laws
• Comply with working time directive rules and regulations as well as company policies and procedures
• Ensure vehicle is in a roadworthy condition at all times
• Follow company health and safety procedures
