The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore various religious traditions, ethical systems, and philosophical ideas, promoting a deeper understanding of the world and their place within it.Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching:Plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons to students across different age groups, using a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.
• Curriculum Development:Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the RE curriculum, ensuring it is inclusive, comprehensive, and aligned with educational standards.
• Student Engagement:Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages open dialogue, critical thinking, and mutual respect.
• Assessment:Design and implement assessments to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic and personal growth.
• Extracurricular Activities:Organise and participate in RE-related extracurricular activities, such as interfaith dialogues, community service projects, and educational trips.
• Professional Development:Stay current with developments in religious education and pedagogy. Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the continuous improvement of the department.

Qualifications:

• Education:Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
