Who are you?
- Experience working with children, ideally within an educational or SEND setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- A patient, empathetic, and positive approach to supporting children’s needs.
- Previous experience of working with young children is essential
- Experience in supporting children with medical conditions and healthcare desirable
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEND training) desirable
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small group assistance, helping children to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
- Supporting pupils with SEND, including those with challenging behaviour.
- Assisting in the delivery of engaging and accessible learning activities.
- Working closely with teachers and the SENDCo to implement tailored support plans.
- Creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
- Promote positive behaviour and well-being through encouragement and structured support.
