Who are you?

  • Experience working with children, ideally within an educational or SEND setting.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • A patient, empathetic, and positive approach to supporting children’s needs.
  • Previous experience of working with young children is essential
  • Experience in supporting children with medical conditions and healthcare desirable
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEND training) desirable

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small group assistance, helping children to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
  • Supporting pupils with SEND, including those with challenging behaviour.
  • Assisting in the delivery of engaging and accessible learning activities.
  • Working closely with teachers and the SENDCo to implement tailored support plans.
  • Creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Promote positive behaviour and well-being through encouragement and structured support.
