Care Assistant Days
We’re looking for a kind-hearted Care Assistant to join this wonderful team at a family-owned Residential and Nursing Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you'll be a vital part of the residents' lives, offering support and companionship to make their days brighter.
We offer full-time hours, including alternate weekends, with shifts from 7am to 8.15pm.
Key Responsibilities of a Care Assistant:
- Helping residents with their daily personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and general tasks.
- Providing tailored care to a range of residents, including those with Alzheimer’s, dementia, epilepsy, and sensory impairments.
- Assisting residents with physical disabilities, using equipment and aids where needed.
- Keeping accurate, confidential records for care plans.
- Engaging residents in fun activities, such as reading, writing, hobbies, or just having a chat to support their mental and physical wellbeing.
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, helping to create a warm and supportive atmosphere.
