Alecto Recruitment is partnering with a valuable client who specialise in gas and fluid handling solutions, who offer bespoke installation, service and maintenance solutions to the oil & gas, petrochemical and power generation sectors.
The Role.
We are looking for a Service Engineer on the South Coast to undertake accurate calibration and meter proving services.
The postholder will undertake all duties associated with that of a Service Engineer, involving remote working from home and providing site service and maintenance at Customer sites throughout the UK & Overseas, including trouble shooting, technical support and repairs.
Responsibilities will also include maintenance and service of fluid handling equipment, loading systems, and skids from the workshop on the South Coast.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Flow Metering, Flow Control, Meter Proving.
- Experience of mechanical equipment repairs, with knowledge of electrical fault finding and process control.
- Awareness & understanding of Quality, Environmental, Safety & Explosive Atmospheres Standards & working procedures
- Troubleshooting, Field Service, and Technical Support skills
- Experience in the calibration and meter proving industry is a plus
- Knowledge of loading systems and skid design is beneficial
- Technical degree or certification in relevant field
- Good understanding of Hydraulics, Valves, Pumps, Controls and electrical equipment.
