ARM have an exciting opportunity for a Demand Planner to join the supply chain team and become pivotal link between the supply and commercial functions.
The Role:
- Track forecast vs actual volumes to determine reasons for inaccuracies and ensure use of best-fit statistical models.
- Maintaining inventory master data, including safety stock levels, to align with agreed inventory strategies and service levels.
- Propose methods of improving forecasting/planning and other key processes.
- Work with Sales and Editorial to understand market requirements and turn those into practical manufacturing and inventory strategies.
- Recommend and manage overstock destruct.
- Manage inter-warehouse replenishments
Requirements:
- Knowledge of clients products, data and systems and their use in demand planning
- Good data management/manipulation skills - competent with Excel
- Good analytical skills
- Accurate and detail focused
- Ability to explain complex concepts/problems in simple terms.
- Problem solving, innovation and continuous improvement
- Judgement and decision making
