Our client, who specialise in Coach and Cruise holidays, are looking for a Tours Manager to join the team to lead the tours department and oversee the existing, amazing team!

You will need to be highly organised, be very motivated, hard-working, have great attention to detail and an ability to manage many projects and responsibilities. Alongside this proven leadership skills to join and manage the tours department.

You will have a creative artistic flair to be able to produce brochures and resources and excellent communication skills when dealing with suppliers and potential business providers. Confident computer skills are a must with the ability to use Excel spreadsheets to maintain and update information.

Duties include..

  • Managing the tours department and taking responsibility for all operations performed by the team.
  • (Including Drivers’ packs, customer itineraries, supplier payments, booking excursions, etc).
  • Producing two coach holiday brochures and two newsletters annually. This includes researching new destinations/attractions, finding and booking hotels, and designing and writing tours.
  • Representing the business at trade and promotional events.
  • Working and liaising with other departments providing assistance and sharing ideas.
  • Updating spreadsheets with project information and budget planning


Working hours

  • Monday to Friday 08.30am to 5.30pm
  • (Including approximately one Saturday in four with a day off in the week to compensate.)

Salary

  • £30,000 - £35,000
  • Dependent on previous experience and people management experience
