Sonic Summary

We are seeking temporary warehouse operatives for a leading local employer, requiring individuals who can work full weeks and are open to learning new skills.
Main responsibilities include stickering/destickering, as well as picking and packing books for dispatch, with previous experience being a plus but not mandatory.
The position offers a salary of £10.50 per hour and requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to work independently.
Candidates must have a good understanding of English and be prepared for some heavy lifting, with safety boots and hi-vis vests provided.
The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the potential for overtime and a total of 37.5 hours per week.

We are hiring for local people looking to work within one of the towns leading employers as a temporary warehouse operative.

This client is looking for people who are available who are able to work full weeks amd be comfortable learning new skills and working in a number of different roles within the warehouse.

Main duties will include stickering/destickering books and picking and packing books ready for dispatch.

Previous warehouse/packing experience would be advantageous although not essential. • The client will spend time training each individual into each position and therefore reliability is very important.• The opportunity for the right person to have continuous work here is very real.• 2 x 30 minute breaks- only 1 is paid- total hours pay per day is 7.5 hrs.= 37.5 hour week• Undertake any other duties as requested by supervisor / Manager. • Must be reliable, a good team player. Flexible and the ability to work on own initiative. • Must have a good understanding of the English language to ensure all Health & Safety instructions are understood. Some heavy lifting involved. Safety boots and hi-vis vest must be worn whilst on site.

Manual Handling of goods -All training and Induction provided by the client- Safety shoes must be worn by all temporary staff and we provide high vix tabards.

The hours are Monday to Friday 0900 - 1700, overtime is sometimes available and not mandatory. Secure parking for cars,motorbikes and push bikes is available.
