Our client is excited to be recruiting for a Skilled Fitter to be based within theirengineering team, their low Voltage switchgear facility site, is based in Boldon Colliery. The facility designs and manufacture HV/LV packaged sub stations, low voltage electrical switchboards, power distribution units, motor control panels, final power distribution and control equipment that are type tested and verified to BSEN61439-1.,
Role
Build modular steelwork systems.
Installation of electrical components (e.g., circuit breakers & fuse-switches)
Wiring of electrical power components and control panels
Inspect & record your work activities.
Attend and contribute to regular team briefings.
Assist in the companys safety efforts by maintaining a good level of housekeeping and always considering health & safety. Experience
Ability to read Electrical Schematics diagrams.
Skilled in use of hand & power tools.
Strong attention to detail and able to work with minimal supervision.
NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent
