About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join our consultancy team on a freelance basis. You will be providing essential support for a construction project focused on building a new warehouse facility in Enfield.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on the construction site.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to project teams on all health and safety matters.
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and produce detailed reports.
- Deliver health and safety training sessions to staff and contractors.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar Health & Safety Advisor role within the construction industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- NEBOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification.
- Immediate availability to start.
