Development Accountant | £33,500 - £36,000 per annum | 12 month FTC | Greater Manchester | Hybrid Working;

Castlefield Recruitment are working with a large public sector organisation based in Greater Manchester who are looking to recruit a Development Accountant to their team. The role offers hybrid working, flexi-time and other great benefits.

Duties:

  • Support the financial management of housing development projects
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Monitor and control development costs, ensuring financial accuracy
  • Work closely with project teams to provide financial insights and analysis
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and housing sector standards

Experience:

  • Experience in development accounting, project finance, or management accounting
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
  • Knowledge of housing development finance (desirable but not essential)
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with stakeholders across the business
