Axon Moore are partnering a well-established and fast-growing business in Bolton who are seeking to expand their team with an ambitious, part-qualified Management Accountant. This newly created role comes off the back of substantial growth over the past five years and provides a fantastic opportunity for someone pursuing ACCA/CIMA to really progress their career.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, i.e. journals, accruals, prepayments
  • Ensure balance sheets and cashflows are accurate and reconciled
  • Assist embedding new acquisitions
  • Year end audit support
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
  • Maintenance of fixed asset register
  • Implementation of new processes and controls to boost efficiency
  • Ad-hoc duties and projects
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Strong management accounts background
  • Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA or AAT Qualified
  • Good IT and MS Excel skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • Able to quickly adapt to change
  • Work efficiently towards meeting deadlines
