Kenton Black are delighted to be working with a reputable firm of chartered accountants and business advisors in the Bolton region currently looking for a Mixed Tax Senior with both compliance and advisory experience.JOB OVERVIEWYou will be a highly motivated and experienced Mixed Tax Senior to join their dynamic team, responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering both compliance and advisory services. The role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and the chance to work with a varied client base whilst offering support to their portfolio management team who undertakes the management of clients. .KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCompliance:-Prepare and review tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and individuals-Ensure all compliance deadlines are met and maintain up-to-date records for HMRC submissions-Stay current with changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance with all relevant tax lawsAdvisory:-Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and efficiency-Advise clients on the tax implications of business transactions and financial decisions-Assist with business restructuring and provide guidance on tax-efficient structuring-Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for tax-related mattersGeneral:-Collaborate with other departments within the firm to deliver integrated services to clients-Mentor and support junior staff members, providing training and development opportunities-Contribute to the firms business development efforts, including attending networking events and generating new client leads-Continuously seeking opportunities to improve internal processes and enhance client service deliveryPERSON SPECIFICATION-ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified (or equivalent) with a strong background in tax. They will also ATT or Qualified by Experience-Minimum of 5 years of experience in a mixed tax role within an accountancy practice. Open to corporate and / or personal tax experience-Comprehensive knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements-Prove experience in providing tax advisory services to owner-managed businesses-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities-Proficient in using tax software and Microsoft applications-Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment-High level of professionalism and attention to detailSUMMARYYou will be working with a varied portfolio of clients ranging from personal tax clients, Directors or even owner managed businesses.
