Halecroft Recruitment is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to join our client’s finance team in Bolton as an Accounts Payable Assistant. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will support day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate transaction processing and meticulous record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive and record invoices from suppliers
- Resolve PO discrepancies with internal departments
- Ensure timely approval of invoices for payments
- Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations
- Maintain the supplier master data
- Assist with month-end activities
- Process employee expenses according to company policies
- Complete ad-hoc tasks and reporting as required
- A passionate individual eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
- Computer literate with a strong aptitude for numbers
- Familiarity with finance systems and processes
- Excellent communication skills
- Adaptable, working well with various departments
- Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experienced in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
The role offers a competitive salary of £28,000 plus bonus and a generous benefits package.
Hours: Mon - Fri with a hybrid working arrangement: 2 days WFH and 3 days in the office
