Accounts Assistant - Permanent 

Halecroft Recruitment is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to join our client’s finance team in Bolton as an Accounts Payable Assistant. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will support day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate transaction processing and meticulous record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and record invoices from suppliers
  • Resolve PO discrepancies with internal departments
  • Ensure timely approval of invoices for payments
  • Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations
  • Maintain the supplier master data
  • Assist with month-end activities
  • Process employee expenses according to company policies
  • Complete ad-hoc tasks and reporting as required
Requirements:
  • A passionate individual eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
  • Computer literate with a strong aptitude for numbers
  • Familiarity with finance systems and processes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Adaptable, working well with various departments
  • Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experienced in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook

The role offers a competitive salary of £28,000 plus bonus and a generous benefits package.

Hours: Mon - Fri with a hybrid working arrangement: 2 days WFH and 3 days in the office
