An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and meticulous individual to join a market leading business as an Accounts Assistant. This role offers the chance to support the Accountant/Accounts function in all aspects of the department.
What you'll do:
- Provide comprehensive support to the Accountant/Accounts function
- Handle general accounts administration tasks such as dealing with correspondents, filing, and updating records
- Manage balance sheet controls effectively
- Take charge of credit control within the department
- Ensure accurate reconciling of accounts on a regular basis
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the department
What you'll bring:
- Proven background in accounts with a good understanding of the role
- Experience working within a Car Dealership would be beneficial but not essential
- AAT qualification would be preferable but not essential
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage balance sheet controls effectively
- Experience in credit control and account reconciliation
