Resident Services Assistant

A Property Developer have a requirement for a Resident Services Assistant to join their Estates and Facilities Management team for a new development with 167 homes for private rented clients.

Resident Services Assistant role

You will be the go-to support for our Resident Services Manager, ensuring residents feel at home and our neighbourhoods run like clockwork. From coordinating property inspection tasks to conducting property viewings and assisting with exciting new developments, this role is all about combining top-notch customer service with hands-on operational skills. You will be key to creating smooth, hassle-free experiences for our residents while helping maintain and enhance the quality of our properties and communities.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Team up with the Resident Services Manager to inspect and maintain estates to high standards.
  • Build strong relationships by acting as a liaison between contractors and residents.
  • Oversee maintenance requests and ensure residents are happy with the results.
  • Organise and conduct property viewings (virtual and in-person) for potential residents.
  • Help new residents settle in by arranging move-ins, property tours, and answering their questions.
  • Coordinate key tenancy processes like drafting agreements, renewing tenancies, and collecting holding fees.
  • Manage property inventories, inspections, and updates to our CRM system.
  • Assist in planning and running community events to bring neighbours together.
  • Be the first point of contact for resident enquiries and escalate issues like anti-social behaviour when necessary.
  • Covering the RSM role when they are on leave.

Skills and experience required:

  • Knowledge of property management or a willingness to learn.
  • Confidence in using technology and managing administrative tasks.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (mileage provided).
  • Proactive: You take the initiative to solve problems and get things done.
  • Organised: You can juggle multiple tasks without missing a beat.
  • Personable: You're a great communicator who can build strong relationships with residents, teammates, and contractors.

In return for your skills, the company are offering a salary up to £30,000 (dependant on experience), car allowance of £4,000 and package including company pension schemes, 27 days holidays + birthday day off, life assurance and healthcare.
