Logical are Looking for a hands on Commissioning Engineer for a large project outside the Bolton area. You'll be joining our main contractor, working solely on a wastewater project for United Utilities.

As part of your job, you will create the commissioning strategy from the ground up and make sure that the project's process outputs are produced safely, in accordance with the design, client requirements, regulatory outputs, and all environmental restrictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commissioning services including commissions plans and documentation, liaising with suppliers and facilitating contractor commissioning and assist the project team with project completions.
  • Work within the team of mechanical, EICA and commissioning engineers to develop best practice, a strong health & safety environment and value for money.
  • Wastewater projects incorporating new build and refurbishment on apparatus such as inlet works, course screens with screen handling units, grit separation & classifiers, fine screens, chemical dosing, dewatering & secondary treatment plant etc
  • producing and reviewing third party Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data to analyse problems and find solutions.
  • Provide process and control expertise for delivery teams within UU framework

You must have experience of installation & wastewater commissioning in the utility sector, understanding commissioning process cradle to grave and working to safe systems of work including Ability to demonstrate evidence of design improvements of process related equipment and plant.
