The successful Design Engineer will be responsible for:
- Producing detailed engineering designs from tender appraisal through to construction issue, ensuring compliance with architectural requirements and site evaluations.
- Investigating technical challenges and provide economical, viable solutions in collaboration with senior engineers.
- Working closely within a team, contributing to member design, connection design, and temporary works, while also assisting in the development of standardised procedures for structural solutions.
- Participating in the structural design phase during tenders, actively contributing to high-value projects, including sports stadia, innovative bridges, and national infrastructure.
- Supporting the implementation of innovative practices and methods to enhance engineering efficiency and project delivery.
- A degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of structural design principles and practices within the construction industry.
- Proficient in engineering software and tools for design and analysis.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively liaise with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
