Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer required by industry leading and growing company to join their team at their site near Bolton. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring compliance with strict aerospace quality standards.

Main Duties - Quality Engineer

  • Ensure adherence to quality management system processes and procedures.
  • Lead investigations into non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform final inspections and complete associated documentation.
  • Use structured problem-solving techniques (e.g. 8D, 5 Whys) to address quality issues.
  • Conduct internal audits to maintain compliance standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement across quality and production processes.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Quality Engineer

  • Previous experience in a similar Quality Engineering role, ideally within the aerospace or a regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with AS9100  quality standards and audit processes.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Skilled in root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and quality-related software tools.
  • Working knowledge of electronic and electrical testing principles.
  • Experience using precision measuring tools such as CMMs and verniers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
