Basic Salary 20.11ph
All PT after 38hrs paid at 30ph
Potential OTE 55k+

Job Description

Working with the UK'sBESTEngineering Companies; the exciting role of Auto Elecetricianhas become available on a permanent position. The role will involve you being based in the depot/workshop completing duties such as:

- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in public service vehicles (PSVs).
- Install, maintain, and test electrical systems and components (e.g., lighting, wiring, batteries).
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure reliability.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Repair and replace faulty wiring, alternators, and other electrical components.
- Interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams.
- Ensure all repairs comply with health and safety standards.
- Document work performed and parts used for each job.
- Liaise with team members to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules.

Desired Skills And Experience

You will either have experience working as an Auto Electrician on PSV vehicles and/or the qualifications to do so. Not essential but ideally you will have a PSV driving license as well as experience working on a variety of commercial vehicles. To be considered you MUST have the following:

City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 in Auto Electricial, Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
Full UK Driving Licence
PSV Technician and workshop experience

Desired Skills and Experience:

You will either have experience working on PSVs and/or the qualifications to do so such as NVQ level 3 or equivalent & IRTEC qualified. Not essential but ideally you will have a Class 1, Class 2, 7.5 Tonne driving license as well as experience working on a variety of commercial vehicles.
