We are currently looking for a skilled Auto Electrician to join our dynamic team at our bus garage in Bolton. If you have a passion for vehicle electrics and want to work in a fast-paced, rewarding environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on buses and coaches.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems.
- Install, test, and maintain electrical systems and components such as wiring, lighting, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ensure that all electrical work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
- Collaborate with the team to minimize downtime and ensure the fleet remains operational.
- Proven experience as an Auto Electrician, preferably in the bus or large vehicle sector.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and diagnostic tools.
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Competitive salary between 40,000 and 47,000 per year.
