Electrical Installation Engineer
boxchange are in partnership with a fast growing and innovative electrical & electronic systems provider based in Lancashire who are looking for Electrical Installation Engineers to work with their prestigious clients.
Our established client is hugely successful with a long list of high-profile clients ranging from large blue-chip leaders to smaller organisations.
Their Electrical Installation Engineers are responsible for installing their bespoke electronic/electrical monitoring systems and products.
The role involves travelling nationwide and overnight stays during the working week Monday to Friday, but you will always be back home at the weekends.
Skills & experience we are looking for:
- You will be educated to BTEC level 4 HNC or equivalent.
- Hold 18th edition or equivalent electrical certificate.
- Electricians will be trained in the installation element of the role.
- Electrical and mechanical knowledge.
- Some experience of working for yourself, an entrepreneurial mindset will be advantageous.
- Someone who is interested in or has experience with Fluid Handling, Fluid Dynamics, Plumbing experience willbe a bonus.
- Someone with mobile communications experience or interest would be beneficial.
- Someone who understands what calibration is.
We are looking for the following in an Electrical Installation Engineer:
- Client facing Engineer with a can-do attitude and will operate as a trusted advisor and solution giver. They are looking for proactive approach who can potentially see issues before they happen.
- People who have the skills and confidence to work with customers and deliver to a standard that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Effective communication skills who must want to talk to both internal and external customers.
- Who will deliver on the day promised.
- Someone who can listen to others and learn from them.
The package on offer:
- Basic Salary range of £33-50k based on skills and experience
- A well-stocked/well-equipped quality vehicle is provided (leased, max 3yrs old)
- 28 days holiday first year including bank holidays rising by an additional day each year to 31 days after three years service
- Overtime & Allowances of £3-4k
