We are hiring an Accounts Administrator to support one of our key customers in Bolton. 

Are you looking for a varied office-based role?  Our client is offering flexibility to work either full or part-time hours. For part-time hours, we are looking for the ideal candidate to work on site 5 days per week doing approximately 25 - 30 hours per week.

About the Role

Due to a restructuring within the team. We have devised a new role which will be a varied Accounts Administrator  position to support the needs of a busy office working within a small team of 5. The role will encompass both administrative and accounts admin tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering incoming calls and dealing with correspondence 
  • Stamping and distribution of internal mail and post 
  • Checking payroll input hours
  • Matching supplier invoices to statements ready for payment runs 
  • Preparing and emailing out remittance advices
  • Raising invoices
  • Ordering of stationery and managing PPE supplies 
  • Checking statements and resolving queries 
  • Updating hours for the workshop and coordinating job tasks 
  • Scanning and filing 

What We’re Looking For

  • Good time management and ability to work with deadlines
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Five GCSEs (A-C), including Maths & English
  • Numeracy skills 
  • Full or part-time office hours (flexible to fit in with schools hours)
  • IT proficiency, including Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Experience in using a financial system, i.e.: Sage, Quick books, Oracle
