A business based in the heart of Bolton, just a 10 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk from the bus station are recruiting!
This is a temporary vacancy on an ongoing basis.
The typical duties whilst in this position are (but not limited to):
- To undertake work connected with the payment of accounts and allowances or collection of income associated with the work of the Department.
- To process invoices in accordance with the Authority’s procedures, including verification and coding.
- To undertake work associated with the payment of allowances to clients or raising of invoices to clients, including the preparation and amendment of payment/income schedules and liaison with clients/suppliers of services.
- To prepare invoices in respect of payments due to the Department.
- To undertake work connected with the operation of petty cash accounts.
- To maintain financial information and records.
- To assist in financial monitoring and control.
- Arranging procurement for staff within the department.
- Administration of the departmental systems in relation to payments or income due from clients.
The working hours are Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00 and it pays £12.66 per hour which is paid on a weekly basis.
