Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage our clients' financial records and ensure accuracy in all bookkeeping activities. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly financial reports
  • Handle payroll processing and related tasks
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial information
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records
  • Provide support to senior accountants as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

  • AAT part or fully qualified.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar role
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero)
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
