Pay Bracket: £29,000k - £31,000k

Location: Bolton / Greater Manchester

We are working exclusively with a well-established, Retail business based in Bolton. They actively searching for a bookkeeper to support their Finance Team. This is deal for an experienced Accounts Assistant who is looking for their next step in their career within a great company and friendly team. You will be reporting into the Finance Director assisting them daily allowing you to gain further experience too!

Responsibilities as a Bookkeeper:

  • Processing purchase invoices in accordance with the company's approval procedures.
  • Verifying supplier invoices against inbound inventory.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Managing weekly and monthly payrolls
  • Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and KPI reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Support the finance team with any ad-hoc tasks.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ideally AAT qualified
  • 2 years in an accounts assistant role preferred
  • Ideally ACCA, ACA or CIMA part qualified
  • Payroll experience
  • Target-driven and able to prioritise workload independently
