The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a General Operator?

The General Operator will be responsible for performing manufacturing and self-certification tasks within the assigned business unit. These tasks must be completed in accordance with product certification procedures, established workmanship standards, and within the allocated budgets and timelines to meet project objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

As a General Operator, you may be assigned to work across several departments, including:

  • Looming: Assembling and organising wiring looms.
  • PEC Assembly: Participating in the assembly of printed electronic components.
  • Plastics Department: Handling tasks related to plastic components and products.
  • Manufacturing Control/Stores: Managing inventory, materials, and manufacturing control tasks.

What are we looking for in our next General Operator?

  • Experience in plastics manufacturing.
  • High dexterity for precision tasks.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting layouts.
  • Ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts.
