An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Telesales Team Leader to oversee the customer service team in our Transport & Distribution department. The successful candidate will manage, inspire, and lead a team to achieve set sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.

Our client is a leading player in the Transport & Distribution industry, offering fulfillment services for both business and personal needs. Operating on a national level, they are now looking to expand their operations this year.

Description

Key responsibilities consist of:

  • Lead and manage the Telesales team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures.
  • Providing continuous assistance to team members handling orders, complaints, and delivery challenges.
  • Generating regular reports for senior management to track sales and identify slow-moving items.
  • Maintaining frequent communication with customers via email, phone, or in-person visits to nurture relationships and resolve any concerns.
  • Conducting an annual customer satisfaction survey, analysing feedback, and implementing improvement strategies based on the results.
  • Handle complex customer service issues and oversee resolution.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve company objectives.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to ensure sales targets are met.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to maintain client satisfaction.
  • Provide coaching and training to team members to enhance their skills.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Generate reports on sales metrics and present them to senior management.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify new sales opportunities.

Profile

A successful Telesales Manager should have:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a customer managerial position
  • Strong abilities to communicate with team
  • Have strong leadership skills and have the ability to motivate and direct other team members
  • Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Work well within a fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience in a telesales or customer service role within the Transport & Distribution industry.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
